• We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services, and we do not embed social media plugins.
• Fonts, map and videos are loaded from our own server. Visiting this website does not transfer any data to third parties such as Google.
• We only use two strictly necessary cookies (see section 4).
• We use data from the inquiry form solely to answer your inquiry and to prepare a possible stay.

3. Hosting and server log files

We operate the web server for this website ourselves. No external hosting provider is involved.

When you visit the website, the server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

4. Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for operating the website. Under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG no consent is required for these. The legal basis for the related data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

• see61 – session cookie that protects the inquiry form against misuse (CSRF protection). Deleted when you close your browser.
• see61_lang – stores your language choice (German or English) so the site appears in your language on your next visit. Stored for 365 days.

On your first visit we choose the language based on your browser's language setting. Your browser sends this with every page request; we do not store it.

5. Inquiry form and contact by email

If you contact us using the inquiry form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, travel dates, number of guests, requested additional services and, if provided, phone number and message. The same applies if you contact us directly by email or phone.

We use this data to answer your inquiry and to prepare a stay. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Your inquiry is stored on our server and delivered to us by email; you receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. Our mailboxes and outgoing email are provided by flatbooster, a service of 3mx GmbH (www.flatbooster.com), which processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

To protect against automated spam, the form contains a check field that is invisible to humans. No third-party services are used for this.

If no booking results, we delete your inquiry no later than 3 months after receipt; on our server this happens automatically. If a rental agreement is concluded, we keep the data for as long as statutory retention obligations require (usually 6 or 10 years under commercial and tax law).

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other providers when you visit the site.

7. Map and route planner

The location map is a graphic we created from OpenStreetMap data and is loaded from our server. No data is transferred to OpenStreetMap.

The “Google Maps” and “Apple Maps” links lead to the route planners of these providers. Only when you click one of these links are you redirected to their website, where their privacy policies apply: Google, Apple.

8. Videos

The videos on this website are delivered from our own server. No video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo are embedded.

9. Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
